This diploma provides a solid understanding of the theoretical and practical elements of communication, ideal for students wishing to pursue a career in film,  journalism or public relations.


 

Overview

This diploma provides students with an understanding of the basics of communication, its many media and the social impact it has. Depending on the units chosen to complement the core transition unit, this program develops students’ skills within such areas as writing, editing, presentation, project management, the various forms of communication and relating to different audiences. Upon successful completion, program credit qualifies students for direct entry* into the second year of the chosen Murdoch University degree and the
opportunity to undertake a double major.
