Three reasons why you should study Chiropractic Science at Murdoch University

A lot of students come to us at Murdoch Institute of Technology with the aim of going on to study a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chiropractic Science and Bachelor of Clinical Chiropractic (BClinChiro) at Murdoch University.

We’ve recently checked in with some of these graduates and we’re thrilled to hear how happy they are with their course.

Based on feedback from students and staff, here are the top three reasons why Chiropractic Science at Murdoch University is one of the best Chiropractic courses in the country – a country with such groundbreaking medical knowledge.

1. The state of the art Chiropractic and Rehabilitation Clinic allows you to practice in a real-world environment with your own patients.

This unique opportunity not only familiarises you with the working environment and equipment, it allows you to practice one of the most important skills for your career – patient care. There is no better substitute for the experience and confidence gained through diagnosing and treating real patients.

2. The comprehensive double degree teaches you everything you need to know to be an accredited Chiropractor.

Murdoch University is the only University in Western Australia that offers a full Chiropractic course, taught by some of the most experienced practitioners. You’ll also graduate benefitting with a degree accredited by the Council on Chiropractic Education Australasia (CCEA). This means you’ll be eligible for registration in Australia and New Zealand as well as countries in Europe and North America.

The great thing about a double degree is that most of the time, you will be equipped to jump straight into your career! Chiropractic Science at Murdoch University even includes a professional practice management unit, which teaches you all the business management skills you need to start and run your own practice.

3. The teaching and administrative staff are friendly and supportive and provide the best quality education.

The study environment is very welcoming, and you get to meet students from all over the world. Because Murdoch University is so international, there are a wide array of services available to help, especially if you speak English as a second language.

At MIT, we provide pathways into the Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chiropractic Science and Bachelor of Clinical Chiropractic (BClinChiro) via our University Preparation Course (MUPC).
